The stationary RFID reader ARE i2.0x from AEG ID is characterized by its compactness,
robustness and industrial compatibility. The exceptionally universal industrial reader measures 90 x 58 x 38 millimeters and is available for use in two frequency ranges.It has external reading antennas to serve all kind of different applications.
Exact Read Range via external antenna
Both the ARE i2.0x LF and the ARE i2.0x HF have a connection for external reader antennas.
These are available in different designs depending on the application. Customer-specific antennas can also be provided very quickly for the respective application. The readers are serial transmission, decoding and communication units with an RS232 interface. The LF variant can even read and write all common LF transponder types such as HDX, PSK, ASK among others. The reader has a protection class of IP67 and can be operated at temperatures from -20°C to +70°C. With a weight of around 170 g, it is a functional lightweight with high performance.
